A. Our Policy

We wish to bring to your notice THE PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION ACT 2010 ("the Act") which came into force on 1st January 2013 and which regulates the processing of personal data in commercial transactions. Under the Act which applies to all companies and firms established in Malaysia, we are required to inform you of your rights in respect of the personal data that is collected and/ or processed by us and the purpose of the collection and/ or data processing.

Your privacy is important to us. We would like to continue the use of the personal information and data already provided to us or to be provided to us and we set out herein our Privacy Policy relating to the collection of your personal information and data, and to help you understand how we collect, use and safeguard your personal information and data in your transactions with us.

B. Collection, Use and Disclosure

1. In the course of promoting, offering and providing our services and products and doing business we may receive or have access to personal information or data relating directly or indirectly to students, teachers, customers, franchisees, business associates and interested members of the public in a form in which access to or processing of the information and data by us is practical.
2. In this Privacy Policy "Personal Data" is used to describe this information and data that is recorded in some material form including as part of a database that can be associated with a specific person and can be used to identify that person.
3. The main purposes for collecting and storing the Personal Data are to enable us to arrange for the enrolment in or provision of courses of study, to process and send notices about your transactions, to collect payment, to service any goods that may require a repair, to distribute information or details of products, events, workshops, seminars, concerts and promotions of interest, contact you, communicate with you, provide customer support or to assess whether to grant a franchise, or extend credit to you and to manage your account, and for any purpose directly related to these purposes.
4. In order for us to provide the purposes or services fully or properly we require the full information or data to be provided to us.
5. We will only collect information from you or about you by lawful means that is necessary for one or more of the purposes and activities it was needed for, except where you consent to us using that Personal Data for another purpose, or where the other purpose is related to the main purpose and you would reasonable expect us to use the Personal Data for that other purpose.
6. By submitting your enrolment or application form, promotional form or warranty form or request or other form as may be required by us for one more of the purposes or activities and by so providing us with the completed Personal Data you agree that we will collect use and store your Personal Data in accordance with our Privacy Policy as may be amended or updated from time to time.

C. Sending Data to Third Parties and Overseas

We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf in order for us to fulfil the purposes or services required, in Malaysia and overseas, and consequently we may provide access to your Personal Data to these third parties with whom we have a business relationship, for example to those who maintain and update our data system and database, to those who assist with our mail-outs, accounts management, processing credit card payments, credit reporting agencies, servicing and repairs of our goods, delivery of goods, conduct music examinations, analyzing data, and health-care management. In addition we release the Personal Data when we believe it is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our agreements or protect our rights. You accept that such third parties may have their own privacy policies and although our agreement with these third parties does not allow them to use the information disclosed to them for anything other than the functions the third party is providing, we are not responsible for their actions, but despite this you consent to the disclosure of your Personal Data for such functions.

D. Security and Protection

Other than as set out herein we will not sell or share or otherwise disclose your Personal Data and subject to, or where otherwise required or permitted by law, we will only retain your Personal Data for so long as it is needed.
